Ruth began a long list of achievements at medical school and as a trainee GP. She always encourages current medical students and junior doctors to follow her example, and publish additional work they are involved in (See Published Books, Journal Publications and Educational Packages). Her own achievements are wide-ranging, and late in her career she is still developing new interests.
